Seeking local partners in LAC region

EPSE Oy (Ltd.) seeks local partners in LAC region for sustainable water solutions

Last weekend, from March 6 to 10 EPSE participated in the 2024 Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Engaging with industry operators, policymakers, and stakeholders, the goal was to explore partnership opportunities to drive positive environmental impact in the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) region.

Throughout the participation, EPSE was able to discuss with operators, potential end-users, and stakeholders about projects in mining and electrical industry, and environmental pollution. As a provider of sustainable water treatment solutions, EPSE is committed to addressing water scarcity challenges and promoting circular economy opportunities in the LAC area, with particular focus on mining and heavy metal industry operators.

This aligns perfectly with the priorities discussed at the IDB Annual Meetings.

“At EPSE, the importance of sustainable water management practices for industries operating in water-stressed regions like the Caribbean is well understood”, says Thomas Bergdahl, consultant for EPSE. “EPSE’s innovative wastewater treatment solution offers a path towards water security and circular economy development. This aligns perfectly with the priorities discussed at the IDB Annual Meetings.”

EPSE’s patented new technology is ideal for:

  1. Purification of process and wastewater containing soluble metals
  2. Achievement of closed water cycles
  3. Recovery of valuable metals for reuse
