A new year, new tricks, or so it is claimed. The beginning of the year is great time for sacred (and somewhat worn out) promises, and we wanted to make our own for the new, brave year of 2025:
1. Let’s end our bad habits.
We don’t have any bad habits, if you don’t count the 2pm coffee with a bun. And that’s something we have no intention of stopping. Instead, we can stick to our good habits, including developing customer solutions so good that even the authorities are amazed.
2. We’re starting a healthier lifestyle.
We are committed to removing heavy metals from (waste)water and if it’s not healthy, nothing is. However, we have always done it, so that is not technically starting. Perhaps starting in new areas counts?
3. We travel more and have new adventures.
This shouldn’t be too difficult to achieve. Hopefully the new adventure will not be food poisoning or malaria, but the winds of change are blowing, and we will most likely experience new countries in 2025.
4. We will learn new skills.
In a small organisation, everyone gets to learn new skills on a regular basis, so this is another promise we can likely keep.
5. We will be more systematic and organised.
Our organisation will be reorganised in 2025, and we are looking for new reinforcements to our team. We also pledge to organise our office supply cupboard at the next opportunity – or before Midsummer at the latest.
6. We will be more environmentally conscious.
This is a goal we take seriously, and we will continue to fight climate change with all the tools at our disposal and help our customers adapt to changing conditions. We will do this, for example, by providing the most efficient and climate-friendly water treatment solutions possible, reducing our water footprint and increasing water and metal recycling where possible.
What promises are being made in your organisation for 2025?
