EPSE Oy (Ltd.) took part 31.10.-04.11.2022 in the first Uzbekistan-Finland International Business Forum in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, as part of the official delegation of Finnish companies to the event. Our company was represented by CEO Jouni Jääskeläinen and International Operations Director Felix Fondem. With the increasingly favorable business and investment environment in Uzbekistan the aim of this trip was to explore and establish contacts with potential local partners and clients for mutually beneficial business opportunities in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
Central-Asia has been in strong economic growth for the past decade, and the region will hold an important role in implementing the global green transition for its vast mineral and metal reserves. To practice sustainable mining, taking into consideration the environmental values in Central-Asia mining, and above all recycling of water in countries where the water reserves are scarce, is vital.
