EPSE’s roll-up banderol and business fliers have flown to Africa for a DRC Trade Mission event that is held September 22nd -24th in Lubumbashi. The event is a part of the AGS program. EPSE was chosen to the event among 50 other SME’s and was represented to industrial players by a company called Tight Metals Zambia Ltd.
AGS is funded by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland and implemented in partnership with the Ministry for Small and Medium Enterprise development of Zambia (MSMED). Program’s target is to accelerate growth and competitive advantage of micro, small and medium sized enterprises, and start-ups in Zambia as well as to increase employment, accessibility to market and create long-term business relations between Zambia and Finland.
AGS Programme is focused on sectors of agribusiness, forestry, renewable energy, circular economy and mining industry. The global green transition requires the implementation of new technologies such as electric cars and renewable energy, and their production requires metals. EPSE was chosen to the event as an interesting company since the EPSE technology is focused in treatment of water containing soluble metals and there is also huge potential for recycling. The event was held in the Democratic Republic of Congo was because the country has large quantities of mineral reserves and their utilization require actions on behalf of reducing emissions for sustainable mining industry. That creates new business opportunities in the country.
